To Use the simpale 4 function Calculator, select Calculator from the Applications menu.

The following keys can be used from the Main Menu or from inside a file:

Only if a cable is connected to a computer the SEND key puts CalcuScribe into the keyboard mode. Press the SEND key again to transfer a file.

If CalcuScribe is not connected to a computer, the SEND key transfers to the IR pod (if one is connected to a computer) or to another CalcuScribe.
To print - InfraLink pod is required.
To receive a file into CalcuScribe
To abort (stop) data transfer or to return to CalcuScribe

Inside a file gives Help the following information

Begin block marking; move cursor to the end of block and then cut or copy the block to the clipboard. If you do not wish to cut or copy the marked block, press F3 to exit block marking.
Toggles between the beginning of the block and the end of the block.

Cut (delete) the marked block
Copy the marked block
Paste the block in the clipboard - into another file or the current file
Undo cut, copy or paste

Toggles the Status Line On/Off - See the location of the cursor.
Only on CalcuScribe-Duo - changes the font size and # of lines to 4 x 80

Word Count
Re-Calculate all the expressions

Change Tabsize. Tabsize = 0 inserts Tab mark so that when the file is sent to a compuiter, it behaves as dictated by the receiving application. Set Tabsize = # (but not = 0) to insert # blank spaces in your file.

Exits from an operation (like spell-check, find, replace etc.) or closes the file
Spell-check the current word only
To Spell-check the entire document
Find (search) a keyword
find and Replace a word
Repeat the previous Find or the previous Replace function

Go to particular line number in your file
Go the beginning of the line
