Beam to other CalcuScribes, to computers and printers.
CalcuScribe is also a dual keyboard: for a PC, Mac or
an iMac when it is connected via cable but not when
it is communicating wirelessly with a computer.
1)
Sticky keys are: Shift, Ctrl
(PC), Alt (PC), Option (Mac), Apple
(Mac). When sticKeys is
turned ON, from the Main Menu,
you have two options:
a)
ONE = after a sticky key
(or more than one sticky key) is pressed, it (they)
becomes active and then only one non-sticky key is accepted.
The sticky key(s) is (are) automatically deactivated.
b) MULT = after a sticky
key is pressed, it stays active until it is pressed
again to deactivate it.
In either case, when sticKeys is ON, the right side
of the screen displays a panel showing which sticky
keys are active.
2) Auto-Repeat option (can
be turned On/OFF). OFF suppresses key-repeat when a
key is held down. The default setting is ON.
3) CalcuScribeDuo has a ZOOM
feature that toggles the font from 8pt
to 16pt while ONLY while inside
the word processor.
The
8pt font displays 8 lines x 80 characters
The 16pt
font displays 4 lines x 40 characters
